Who We Are

A Ministry committed to improving the lives of all people in Sierra Leone.

What We Do

in collaboration with non-profit organizations and private partners, the Ministry of Social Welfare works to promote community safety for women and children in Sierra-Leone.

We do that by helping social projects get the support they need to carry out their mission by connecting them to businesses and their employees through a community platform allowing people to raise money and to volunteer for them.

Our Mandate

Empowering and transforming the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged persons or families including young people, women, children, the elderly and persons with disabilities. We do this through coordinated development and implementation of laws, policies and programmes that promote their welfare and safeguard their rights including religious tolerance.
